Ginger Sweets Pastry Cafe

As the name suggests, Ginger Sweets offers a tasty range of freshly made pastries every day, to go along with your coffee. Generously sized cookies, brownies, macarons and mini-scones were on display during our visit, but the selection continually changes. As well as their standard coffee menu, seasonal coffee specials change every few months too.

Ginger Sweets is tucked away in a strip mall at the junction of Kempsville Rd and Volvo Rd, and is well worth seeking out. A small indoor area is decked out in a black and pink aesthetic and a couple of tables and chairs are available outside.

The pastry cafe also has occasional themed events, with pastries and coffees themed to match the topic, like 'Adventure Time' or 'Bob's Burgers'.
