Apelu Island Cafe

This family-owned cafe can be found in a shopping center with a Walmart Supercenter, but it brings a little bit of island life to Norfolk.

The family (including cousins, grandparents, uncles and aunts), bring their Samoan culture into the decor, the music and of course the food and drink.

Brewed coffee is available in Island (medium roast) and Samoan (dark roast. Other drinks include frappes with tropical flavors, chai and loose leaf tea, as well as seasonal lattes, house-made cold brew and tsunami energy drinks.

Fresh baked pastries include tropical twists like coconut cream or mango jam
